Meet Christos.

Christos Savvidis

Dog trainer and behaviourist. I've trained dogs for more than 10 years, the last 5 here in the UAE. In January 2025 I gave the workshop “Mastering Dog Training with Christos Savvidis” at Pet Parents Fest in Damac Hills, and joined the talk-show panel on behaviour. For the past few years, RAK Art Festival has called me to host the group class at its pet-friendly weekend.

Method

From first message to first lesson.

  1. 01

    Message me on WhatsApp.

    Tell me your dog's name, age and what you'd like to change.

  2. 02

    Pick your package.

    I'll recommend the level that fits your dog. Pay online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or ask me on WhatsApp.

  3. 03

    Training at your home.

    45-minute sessions. 5-session packages run weekly; 10-session packages every 2–3 days. Group classes and socialisation fit in between.

Where I train

I come to you anywhere in the UAE: Dubai (including Arabian Ranches, Dubai Hills, The Springs, The Meadows, Jumeirah Park, JVC, Dubai Marina, Damac Hills, Mudon, Al Barari, Town Square and Mirdif), Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

01How long is a session?

45 minutes, at your home.

02Which areas do you cover?

The whole UAE. I group visits by area on set days, and we agree a day that suits your area.

03How often do we train?

5-session packages: once a week, for about 5 weeks. 10-session packages: every 2–3 days, for about 4–5 weeks. Socialisation sessions and group classes happen on extra days in between.

04What are the group classes?

Weekly, 60 minutes, with other dogs. I message you the place, day and time each week. They're free in every package; on their own, a class is AED 150, or AED 1,000 for 10 (valid 3 months). An up-to-date vaccination record is needed first.

05How does daycare work?

Social Diploma, Bachelor's and Master's include up to 7 days of daycare at a partner facility, subject to its vaccination and temperament checks.

06How long is my package valid?

3 months from payment. A vet note, or another major reason, extends it.

07Can I reschedule?

Yes, free with at least 24 hours' notice. A later cancellation or a no-show counts as a used session.

08What if I change my mind?

Full refund if you cancel before your first session. No refunds once training starts.

09How do I pay?

Online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, or message me on WhatsApp. Invoices are issued by Omnipet Global FZE. Your card statement will show OMNIPET GLOBAL, the company behind Dog Training University.

10What do I need for the first session?

Your dog's municipality registration, favourite treats cut small, the collar or harness and lead you use every day, and a short video of the problem if you have one. For group classes, socialisation sessions and daycare, I also need an up-to-date vaccination record; home sessions don't.

11Can I start with an assessment?

Yes. I come to your home for 30 minutes, assess your dog and give you tips you can start the same day. If you book a package at the assessment, it's free. If not, it's AED 250, paid at the end of the visit, and the AED 250 comes off any package you book later.
